How to Draw Lolo and Lala, Adventures of LOLO

Ok, first off we need to draw a circle. Circles can be really hard to draw. Digital software can make it a bit easier. I just learned a new trick today in order to do this in Paint Tool SAI. Create a new Line Art Layer, and select the Curve Tool. Use

Now add another smaller set of ovals for the pupils. Man, there is this weird bird outside driving me crazy... *ahem* Yes. Pupils.

Draw a swirly shape for each hand. The smaller portion of the swirl becomes the thumb. Be sure to draw them in opposite directions or he'll have two of the same hand!

Add a little curve on top of each hand for the wrist part of the glove. Yeah, he's wearing gloves. This is really complex!!! *breathes* Ok, next add tiny curves for his tiny little arms.

Now we'll draw two hamburger buns for the feet. I don't know how else to say it! Oh, now is probably a good time to mention that it's ok to draw through the first circle... assuming you haven't inked it already... We'll erase all the overlapping line

Speaking of which, here's what you get when you erase the overlap. What a cute fella! But wait, he needs a girlfriend!!!

Draw a little bump for the center knot of the bow. Then draw a round triangle type shape for each half of the bow.
