How to Draw Heffalump

To start, lets draw three circle shapes for the body of the Heffalump you will be drawing. The top circle is for the head, the middle is for the mid section of the body and then the last one is for the butt end. Draw a small line for the ear and then

Now first things first, draw the shape of the nose or trunk of the Heffalump and then incorporate the lining to form the head and mouth. Add some thick pieces of hair and then draw out the ear.

In step three you will start to draw out the body which includes the back, hind leg, and front leg. Cap off the ear and then draw the underline of the lower lip.

Here is your last drawing step. All you have to do is draw the stripes on the hair, detail the trunk, and then give this little guy some stylish nails and a fuzzy tail. Erase the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Winnie the Pooh is a loving character and all his friends are loving as well. In the past, I have submitted lessons on several Winnie the Pooh characters that are all the original members since the creation of Pooh and his friends. I wanted to show you “how to draw Heffalump” step by step. Heffalump is an elephant looking type of character and it is said that the character was made from the imaginations of how children view elephants. As you know, young children always have their own perspective when it comes to animals or any other type of creature. The Heffalump was created back in the 20’s when Pooh and Piglet started talking about catching a Heffalump in a trap because they thought that these creatures where absolutely monstrous. I think the creation of the Heffalump was a smart idea and I am also a big fan of this cute stuffed light purple colored character from the tales of Winnie the Pooh.
