Let's start off with the face shapes for these two characters. This is pretty straight forward!

Next, sketch the ears for the dog character's face.

Then, draw the facials like the eyes and the mouth. Not much to say here, it's pretty self explanatory.

Next, let's work on the facials of the other character's face, making sure the pupils for this character is pointing in the opposite directions to emphasize the crazed expression.

Then, work on the overly curved outer mouth shape and then the upper mouth shape.

Using thin lines, draw the mouth as well as the individual teeth details.

Finish by sketching the small little hat which is ALWAYS perched to the right of the head.
