How to Draw Deep Blue, Tokyo Mew Mew

Step 1.

Begin drawing Deep Blue by making a circle for the head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

You will now start drawing out Deep Blue's hair which is bowl shaped, as well as full of bangs and hair chunks. Make sure the sides of the hair strands cup his face.

Step 3.

Okay, the hair is all done. Now you will draw the outline of his chin which is pointed. Draw the alien like ears, then draw the eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth.

Step 4.

All you have left to do now is draw the rest of the hair which should also be long and straight. Sketch the shape of his neck, then draw the high stiff collar. Erase the mistakes and guides to finish off this lesson.

Step 5.

Here is Deep Blue when you are done. Add some color to bring this alien villain to life.

Description: You didn't think I was going to make tutorials on all these Mew Mew's without making a lesson on one of the main villains did you? Well to your surprise here is "how to draw Deep Blue", step by step. He is one of those characters who aren't who they appear to be. What I mean by that is, Deep Blue is in fact an alien who has taken the form of a human. Years and years ago, Deep Blue arrived at earth way before the others did. When he came to earth, he took the form of a human boy named Masaya Aoyama so he could keep who he really was hidden. His iced over heart, and cruel demeanor isn't really seen until later in the manga because even though he is one of the bad guys, his character isn't presented to the series until volume six. Anyways, this tutorial was pretty fun to make because it is based on one of the antagonist of the series instead of one of the leading females. I tried making the tut as easy as possible so you can recreate your own Deep Blue. All the steps are laid out for you as you will see, and though a lot of you don't read the descriptions for each step, they will also be provided as well. Until next time people, have fun and keep on drawing!
