How to Draw Ant-Man

Are you all ready to begin or what. Let's start with a face/head shape. You will then sketch in some facial guidelines. Draw the shoulder line and hop down to step two.

Using the head guide, begin sketching out the structure of Ant-Man's helmet or metal mask. Draw in the arch for where the top half of the is separated by the bottom half.

So in this step you will just need to draw in the antenna on the sides of the helmet's head as well as the ant like mandibles.

Up next, you will draw in the tubing that is connected to the bottom of the mandible like shapes off to the side of Ant-Man's head/helmet. Once that is done you can draw the air vent that covers the mouth area. This is the part of the mask that allow

The steps will get easier and easier now. All you have to do next is draw in the seam lines on the top part of the head, then draw out the shapes for the eye hollows of the helmet style mask.

Add detailing to the antenna and mandible tubing like so. This will add that technological detailing to the helmet.

Begin sketching out the shape of the neck. As you can see by the drawing step, you will need to take your time here as you tackle this task. Once the neck is drawn in correctly, you can add the small skinny tubes that come from the helmet and connect

For the last drawing step you will sketch out the actual shape of Ant-Man's upper body or what is visible. Draw the straps from his suit, and then sketch in the detailed chest plates that are part of his suit. Erase your mistakes and you are all done

Here is Ant-Man when you are all done. Now you can color him in then show off your work!

Description: I don't know how many people have heard, but there is a new movie coming out in 2015 and it's based on a superhero who has an odd name. Up next, I will be showing you how to draw Ant-Man, step by step. If you haven't heard of Ant-Man before it's probably because it's not the sort of character from a comic book that you would recognize by name or even appearance unless you are an avid fan of comic of all types. Paul Rudd is step to fill the shoes of Ant-Man. I don't know how well the film will do since this Marvel character's name is new to me in every sense of the word. I will however attempt to teach you the task of drawing Ant-Man. I encourage folks to tackle this tut because it is different and if you're a newbie to the art world it will be a challenge and as you know, challenges are a good thing. Adios folks!
