Step 1.

You will start this first step on how to draw an archer by drawing out a circle shape for the head and then draw out the body's line of position. The neck, and torso lines is the first to be drawn, then the shoulder, arm and leg guidelines are next.

Step 2.

Now in this step you will start drawing out the shape of the archer's head and face structure. Once that is done you can go ahead and draw out the design of the hat as well as the shape of his left forearm and hand. Draw the horizontal line and shape

Step 3.

As you can see step three consists of drawing out the actual facial look of your archer. Draw out the lip of the archer’s hat and then draw and add a feather. Next, draw out the simple looking eyes and eyebrows as well as the archers’ nose and mo

Step 4.

Finish the design of the archer's shirt and then add the strap for the arrow pouch. Draw the bow of the bow and then draw out the belt and buckle of the archer.

Step 5.

This is the last drawing step and all you have to do now is draw out the shapes of the legs and then draw out the simple looking archer boots. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Step 6.

This is what your archer came out looking like and now the fun begins. Color her in and you have just completely learned how to draw an archer step by step.

Description: Now that I have submitted my version of a jouster I thought it was time for another character from a very popular sport of the midieval times. This next tutorial is going to show you how to draw an archer step by step. Archers are very talented people when it comes to using a bow and arrow. Archers where a very important part of the medieval days being a must have skills man for armies from many different castles ruled by kings and queens. They were equipped with just a bow and a bundle of arrows. Archers were called into battle when the need for long range battles was needed. A very popular archer from history is a fellow named Robin Hood. He was so popular that many movies of how he would steal from the rich to give to the poor was developed and created. There is a movie called Robin Hood from Disney which consists of animal characters and it was a fox that played Robin of Locksley. Another movie that depicted the fable Robin Hood stars Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman which was very good indeed. Anyways the sport of archery is still practiced today and there is even a bunch of competitions that skilled archers can attend and win at. This tutorial will teach you how to draw an archer step by step. Now since I wanted everyone to try and tackle this lesson, I drew and sketched out this midieval character to be very simple to ensure that most of you will be able to learn from. I even dressed him up in the same outfit that Robin of Locksley wears, so if you think about it you will also learn how to draw Robin Hood as well. I will be back with more drawing fun so stay tuned and have those pencils ready.
