How to Draw an Anime Man, Anime Man

Step 1.


Start with a circle for the guy's head and then draw in the facial guidelines like you see here.

Step 2.


Sketch out the wide slanted shapes of his devious eyes, and when making the eyes, sketch in the lids to have some lashes at the ends and broken lines at the points. Draw the long nose, and then draw out the mouth line.

Step 3.


Draw the long thin eyebrows which should actually be almost as long as his eyes. Draw in the eyeball, and then sketch out some light lashes on the bottom of his eyes. Also, be sure to lightly sketch in some of the exposed lids from his eyes being sli   

Step 4.


Okay, now sketch out the hand and be sure to draw it sort of relaxed and the hand and fingers are skinny. The nails should be sort of long and then add detailing to his hand by adding knuckles.

Step 5.


The next step is to get that rose stem drawn out. Instead of making a delicate looking stem, I wanted to draw a rose that is thick and hearty. Start the the top and work your way down. Draw in the leaves that cup the blossom of the rose, and then dra   

Step 6.


Now you can draw out the rose bloom and you might want to take your time as you do this because it should come out looking nice and neat.

Step 7.


Okay, begin sketching out the entire outline of the hairstyle which is your typical anime style. Sketch in the long bangs and then draw the back of the hair which is sharp or pointed like you see here.

Step 8.


Sketch out the shape of his face and then draw the neck the same width you see it done here. Draw in the detailing for the neck and then draw out the ear and earring. Erase the lines and shapes that you made in step one to clean up the sketch you jus   

Step 9.


Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can color in this character in to finish him off.

Description: Well guys I think I have reached the end of the tutorial day, and like I always often do I have saved the best for last. Some of you may have caught an early Livestream that I did today, but then again some of you didn't catch me draw live today. Earlier, I made a lesson based on an anime figure that a lot of you have waited for. Iā€™m going to finally teach you "how to draw an anime man", step by step. I looked at the poll recently and so far the majority of tutorials that folks would like to see more of are anime related. Second is cartoons, and tattoos is third I think. This drawing took me four hours to complete from start to finish and another hour to turn it into a tutorial. Ever since I made those tutorials on the different anime female figures, I have been asked over and over again to make the same drawing and coloring style lesson based on a male anime figure. As I was drawing live today, it was suggested that I make long finger nails on his hand, and have the expression on his face look a bit devious and charming at the same time. The rose that he is holding represents him being a charming pick up artist, and I even added a small stud in his ear for a piercing to make him carry that bad boy image. I love the coloring, and I also love the way the design concept came out in general. Overall, I think most of you will have a blast with learning "how to draw an anime man". If you find that there is some complexity to following this lesson, just take your time and repeat the same step over and over again until you get it right.
