How to Draw a Wizard
3
draw a wizard hat, eye brows some definition to the face like aging lines and the start of the cloak.
4
As you can see with a few simple steps the wizard is taking form. Fill in and shape the beard some more and draw the right arm part of the cloak that falls to his feet.
5
Look to the left, you can see that in this step your going to start to draw out the staff, belt, and half of the cloak.
6
Give some attention to the top of the staff and his right and left hand. You also have to draw his sword that you barely see on the right. Long his belt more too.
7
Now is the time to put the detail in his robe. The easiest way to do this is to enlarge the image and follow the line art detail.
8
Almost done what you want to do is start to finalize your sketch and erase the unwanted lines like the guide lines and rough sketch lines. After your done with that put more detailing in his robe.

Description: Wizards are interesting magicians. They are considered powerful sorcerers that are sometimes evil and sometimes good. The book and movie Lord of The Rings depicts a few different wizards that are cool. They are a part of fantasy tales, they are a group of people that study and practice the skill of magic. If you think about it a wizard is kinda seen as a prophet or visionary. I always imagined wizards having dragons to fly on and to protect them, having so much power that they sometimes turn evil to rule the world, have a handful of fairies to do their messenger work and so on. The first image that pops in my mind when I think of what a wizard should look like is, an older man with a long beard that is turning white, a staff that holds some form of power, a long cloak & cape, a sword or sometimes they carry a dagger depending on the type of wizard your drawing. This online tutorial shows you a real easy way to draw a wizard with good instructions and a few steps. I tried to mimic one of the wizard tattoos I have on my body. The hardest part of sketching the wizard was transforming my sketch from paper to a computerized form of drawing from Photoshop. The beard and cloak was a bit difficult. This tutorial consists of a lot of line art and detailed lines, so be patient I promise it will be worth it. I think he came out so cool.
