How to Draw a Simple Chibi
1
Your first step consists of a large circle for the chibi's head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the wire lining for the body.
2
Next, begin sketching out the shape of the chibi's face like you see here. You will then draw the thick shapes of the eyes, and then draw the one piece of hair to the right hand side.
3
Continue to draw out the hairstyle for this simple chibi character, and don't forget the bangs. Once that is done you can finish drawing out the shapes of the eye, and then add the eyebrows.
4
Draw in the glaring looking eyeballs, and then add the mouth. You will then begin sketching out the shape of her body which consists of the shoulders, arms, chest, and legs.
5
For your last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the right arm and hand, and then the left hand. Next, draw the bottom of the shirt line, and then draw out the crossed legs. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up t

Description: Well, here it is, the last lesson for the day. I wanted to save the best for last because to tell you the truth, this is one of my favorite chibi character drawings I have done to date. I absolutely love the combination I used for the hair color, eye color, clothing colors, and the background color. I always wanted to do a tutorial that taught you "how to draw a simple chibi", step by step. I know there is many members that come to Dragoart, looking for something easy or simple to draw. And I also know that I have a lot of hard tutorials on the site that are almost impossible for a novice artist to tackle. That is why I have been doing a lot of simple and easy lessons for all you beginning artists to learn from. One thing is certain, drawing a simple chibi is something that is fun to draw, and it also puts you on the right track when it comes to drawing chibi style. I drew this chibi in a sitting position, with her legs crossed, and her arms and hands free. She is very simple looking, and there is no extras that you need to add unless you want to. I look back on some of the older chibi drawings I did back three years ago, and I can't believe how much better I have gotten with drawing in this type of fashion. I hope all of you that have been waiting for a tutorial that teaches you "how to draw a simple chibi", likes what I have created, because I drew it especially for you novice artists out there. That's is all I have for you guys today. I will be back tomorrow with some more awesome drawing fun. Peace peeps, and have a happy day!
