How to Draw a Siamese Cat

Let us begin by making the outlined shape for the cat's head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Using what you just made in step one, sketch out the structure of the cat's face. Notice the lips of the cat's mouth are well defined.

Next, form the shape of the cat's large pointed ears like so. Sketch in some of the hair on top of the cat's head.

Here you will sketch in the detailing inside of the cat's ears like so. The lining is actually the cat's cartilage.

Draw the small cap that this Siamese cat is wearing, and don't forget to add the nib.

Now we can begin sketching out the face in a very Asian manner. Start with the eyes, then sketch in the bone structure around the eyes, and cheeks. The lining for the eyes should be bold or dark.

Finish the face by sketching out the nose, and then the small chin. Add some whiskers on the chin then add a dimple in the center of the nose.

Lightly sketch in the long mustache like whiskers. This will make your Siamese cat look like an oriental. The fine lines to form the stache combined will end up looking thick.

Sketch out the shape of the cat's neck, then draw in the stiff looking shirt collar.

Lastly, draw the shoulders, and add a button in the center of the shirt right at the neck line. Erase the mistakes before calling this drawing finished.

That's it, you are all done. Now add some color to your Siamese cat to make it your own.
