Start off by making four points or dots at each corner of your paper. Use a ruler to make sure that each dot is lined up with one another.

As you can see here in my diagram, I show you how the points should align and how when they do, there are equal widths on all four sides.

Now begin drawing the rectangle. Start by grabbing your ruler and draw a horizontal line on to, and below like so.

Next make the lines for the sides of your rectangle, and then look over your shape to make sure that all is even. Erase what little mistakes there may be.

And here you have it, a perfect rectangle. Well done guys, (not like that was super duper hard).

Description: Hey everyone, here I am with yet another shape tutorial. This new lesson features an old trick learned from a previous art class. I will be showing you 'how to draw a rectangle', step by step. You don't need to use rulers or those projectors. We'll be executing with a basic 'point' system, and knowing the boundaries of drawing various types of rectangles.
