When drawing a horse's head, make sure you keep in mind the spacing between the eyes as well as the eye shape. Take your time and reference as much as possible of various horse heads!

Use the one facial guidelines to draw out the eye and color it in. When that is done you can draw the nostrils and then sketch in the facial guidelines which are the indents on the snout.

Continue on with drawing the back part of the horse's neck and then the front part of the neck which connects to the chest. Take your time as you draw out the long flowing mane and then draw the horse ears.

Lastly, draw in the horse tail. You can create the tail to be as thick or as thin as you like. Erase your guidelines and shapes, then erase your mistakes.

Description: One of the most hardest animals to draw is the horse. I know I have struggled with the task of drawing a horse for so long and even today I am no great artist when it comes to drawing a horse. Anyways, this lesson will be showing you how to draw a horse for beginners, step by step. This drawing is in a sketched style because it is a lot easier to look at and understand when it's a sketch.
