How to Draw a Hippie Girl

Start off with a head shape then sketch in the facial guidelines.

You will now sketch out the shape of the girls face on the right side like so.

Next, draw in the head strap which only wraps around the forehead, then add a pretty daisy flower at the left side of her head as you see here.

Now you can work on her hair starting with the hair line. As you can see it frames her face starting with the bangs. Her hair is all one length. Draw the long ponytail, then add a band around the middle section of long hair.

Now we will work on her pretty face. Make big catty eyes, then draw the eyebrows, nose and great big smile. Don't forget to draw in her lips and add some lashes.

For this step all you will do is draw the hand and arm. The hand is touching her face so naturally the arm is raised.

Here you will sketch out the rest of her head shape which is also her hair. Then draw an ear, detailing on her palm, then draw the bracelet she is wearing.

Draw the torso which will also be her blouse. Add the necklace as well.

Finish off your hippie girl by drawing her left shoulder, left arm & sleeve, then her right sleeve. Erase whatever mistakes you made followed by the facial guidelines.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can have fun with coloring in this hippie using colors you love.

The concept is super simple with your traditional looking female hippy. Her long hair, brown head strap, flower in her hair, and her choice of clothing all go well when drawing a hippie.
