Step 1.
First draw out a shape that looks like a rock or tab depending on how you look at the step. This will be your outlined shape for the taco shell.

Step 2.
You will now sketch out the actual shape of the shell which is rounded at the edges, and as you can see there is an outlined shape of burger meat at the bottom.

Step 3.
Sketch the meat in more detail and add the defining lines to add texture. Next, draw some stick like shapes for the shredded cheese, and then draw the lining for the outer shell.

Step 4.
Flour tortilla shells have notches in them from the crushed corn and flour. That is the type of pattern you will draw here to add texture to your taco.

Step 5.
Finish sketching out some more cheese, and then add the shreds of lettuce. The blob of sour cream goes on top, and then after you erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one, your taco is all done and ready to eat...I mean color!

Here you have a delicious meal all ready to color in to complete. Wasn't that an easy and fun way to enjoy a taco without the mess? Join me again for another drawing lesson on food.

Description:
Let's learn "how to draw a taco, step by step”. Now, drawing a taco is almost the same thing as making a taco at home. All you need to do is place some ground beef, chicken, or turkey on the bottom of a hard tortilla shell. Next, top the ground meat with some thick shredded cheddar cheese, throw some chopped lettuce on top of the cheese, and then add the sour cream. There you have it, a delicioso hard shelled taco made from scratch. Some other topping you can add to your taco is diced tomatoes, re-fried beans, taco sauce, and even onions. I love Taco Bell, but not as much as I love making this Mexican dish right at home along with some burritos, and nachos. I got the idea to draw this food item when my little sister asked if I made a lesson on "
how to draw a taco
" while she was eating one. That's when the idea hit me, and what better way to say I love Mexican food, then drawing one from scratch. Just looking at the colored image is getting me hungry for more, I can't wait to go to Taco Bell again to feast on one of my favorite meals. Well that does it for me, have fun teaching yourself the ins and outs to drawing a taco, step by step”. Be sure not to munch on your pencil while you gaze upon the finished drawing. Adios amigos, and happy eating!
