How to Draw a Fingerprint, Fingerprint
1
Make an oval shaped circle like so. This is going to be used as your base which will help keep things aligned.
2
Begin drawing in the swirl pattern in the center of the print. There is some broken lines, not all of them are connected or in a single stream line.
3
Continue to sketch out more of the spiral pattern like so, and when you are done, move to step four.
4
You are still making swirl lines but this time you will keep going until the bottom and sides of the fingerprint is filled in.
5
Finish the print by drawing out the rest of the patterned lines. Instead of being swirled, they are arched. Erase any and all mistakes.

Description: I’m almost done for the night which means after this tutorial there is only one more to go. Up next I will show you how to make something a little different. Today, you will learn "how to draw a fingerprint", step by step. The print I made in this tutorial is not from actual finger. This means if the print was to be scanned and searched for in a fingerprint database, it would not show up with a match. Drawing a pattern for a print is sort of hard. Every person in the world has a unique pattern on their fingers and thumbs. If a print is picked up from a crime scene and is put through a database and a match is found, you can be sure you will be charged for the crime in question. Some may find that drawing a fingerprint is complex, but all you have to remember is it’s a bunch of lines drawn in a uniform manner. I think this would actually make a pretty cool tattoo design, or better yet, ink your own print on a piece of clear, clean white paper, and the tattooist can probably draw your very own fingerprint on your body. Think about it, it’s pretty neat. Anyways, enjoy the tutorial, I’m sure plenty of you will find a use for it.
