How to Draw a Fantasy Creature

Draw an egg shape for the head, and then another shape that is in the form of an eye for the body. When that is done you can add the guidelines for the face and legs.

Now start sketching out the actual shape of the head which contains ears, and horns as you can see by the outline of the fantasy creatures head. When this is done you can proceed onto the next drawing step.

It's now time to start drawing out the shape of the body including the legs. The feet are rounded as shown to you here, and the back of the beast is ribbed too. Notice how it has a turtle like tail. Before you leave this step, all you need to do is d

Finish sketching out the eyes, and then draw in the pig style nose. Add the mouth lining and then draw some detailing to define the ears. Once that is done youc an draw out the three toes claws, and then some leafy looking pieces on the backs of the

Lastly, draw in the nostrils, and then add some saber tooth style fangs or teeth. Draw in the lining on the back for the creatures plated armor, and then sketch in some light definition lines to add texture and detail to the monster. Erase all the li

Description: Yesterday I was drawing some stuff, and one of the things I drew was a really cute and cool fantasy creature. So today, I am going to be uploading this awesome lesson and call it “how to draw a fantasy creature", step by step. Sometimes I will draw something just by being random, and the outcome of the drawing turns out to be a creation I really like. I do believe that some of you were with me as I was doodling and sketching out this creature live. I have no idea what to name it, but if you ask me it looks like an alien animal that could be in a movie like AVATAR or even Star Wars. There are so many things you can create if you open your mind and just keep going at what you love to do. I love drawing, and because of that I love creating new things whether it is animals, objects, creatures, or beings. A good example on what I mean is those skull drawings I made a day ago. When I first started this site, all I did was draw fantasy beings. Nowadays I draw a variety of things leaving behind my true love which is fantasy. If you look at some of my old concept art you will get a good idea on what I mean. Sketches like the mercenary dragon, and the beast creature are some of the concepts I’m talking about now. Anyways, I’m going to shut up now because I’m starting to ramble on about stuff that doesn’t need to be talked about unless I’m writing a book.
