Step 1.
Start with a circle and then add the shapes for the top and bottom jaw instead of drawing in facial guidelines. Next draw a long neck line and attach it to the circular shape of the body. You will then draw the shapes of the limbs as you see here and
then draw the shapes of the hind legs and then the feet.

Step 2.
Step two is pretty simple. All you have to do is start sketching out the shape of the upper and lower jaw as you see here and then add a line for the tongue. Sketch in the eye, and then add the nostril holes.

Step 3.
Okay now sketch out the shape of the thick bold neck of the dinosaur. Now because this species is one of the more stronger breeds of dinosaur, the body should come out looking strong. Add some definition and detailing under the T-Rex's neck and then
start sketching in the sharp pointed teeth like you see here as well as the shape of the head.

Add a bit more detailing to the neck and then draw the lining for the torso to complete the dinosaurs upper body shape. You can nos start sketching out the arms and three clawed hands or claws and make sure you add some definition to the chest.

Step 5.
Finish up the top part of the body and then finish sketching out the small baby looking arms. Draw the thighs and then draw the belly and some of the tail from an underneath perspective. Detail the calves too.

Step 6.
This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is thicken the lines for the thighs and then finish sketching out the lower part of the dinosaur legs. Once that is done you can sketch out the feet and clawed toes. Erase all the guidelines and s
hapes that you see here and then move to step seven to see how your newly drawn dinosaur should look.

Description:
I think it is time to learn "how to draw a dinosaur" in a real easy and cool fashion. I drew this dinosaur yesterday while I was live and everyone liked how it came out. I think this is one of my favorite dinosaurs that I drew and I really am loving the line art. I have to thank Adobe Illustrator for those professional looking lines huh? Wow, wicked nice. Anyways, the dinosaur that I used for a reference is the Tyrannosaurus Rex. This carnivore was one of the deadliest of its kind back in the Jurassic period. When I was like eleven years old, I watched "Jurassic Park" for the first time, and that is when I really feel in love with the T-Rex as well as the Velociraptor. Drawing dinosaurs is a fun way to let your imagination go wild because you can come up with a bunch of ideas to mix the reptile with another creature like I do. My concept art comes from a variety of mixed beings, animals, reptiles, dragons and so forth. I think that if you use your imagination, you too can come up with an amazing concept character just by learning “
how to draw a dinosaur step by step
”. I will be back momentarily with two more lessons that I think you will enjoy. For now try out this submission on a very easy and basic dinosaur called the T-Rex. Peace peeps and happy drawing!
