Step 1.
The first thing you need to do is make the shape for the skull's head. When that is done you can sketch in the facial guidelines like so.

Step 2.
The next thing we will do is draw out the actual shape or structure for the skull, and when you do this be sure to draw in those prominent cheek bones. Add the small notches for the teeth, then proceed to step three.

Step 3.
As you can see we will be working on the face. The first thing you need to do is begin sketching out the large eye openings. The creases, and indents on the skull will add character and texture to the surface. Draw the heart shaped nose, then draw in
each front top tooth. Add definition to the teeth and face before leaving this step.

Here you will draw the bottom mandible or the bottom jaw. Add the teeth, then sketch in some detailing around the bottom part of the jaw line.

Step 5.
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the candy cane breaking through the skull's head. Be sure all the cracks are added, as well as all the definition around the eyes. Draw the eyeballs, then add the stripes for the candy cane. Erase
the mistakes before calling this lesson done.

The line art looks like the drawing you see here. Color in your works of art.

Description:
I really don't know what to say when it comes to this lesson on "
how to draw a Christmas skull
", step by step. I wanted to make something cool enough for people to enjoy while keeping the Christmas spirit. The skull design is a regular concept. Some things I did different was drawing eyeballs in the skull's head, and I also gave the skull some skin tissue under and around the eyes. To make things really festive, I drew a candy cane to go straight through the skull's head as you can see here. You can choose any object to drive through the head. I thought a candy cane would make things interesting at the same time as being pretty snazzy. Anyways, enjoy drawing a Christmas skull folks and I will be back with more artistic fun for you all. Adios mi amigos!
