Artist:

/ December 16, 2010
Step 1.
Start with a circle for the chipmunk's head and then add the facial guideline. You will then sketch out the shape of the body before you move to step two.

Step 2.
Begin sketching out the shape or form of the face, and then draw in the eye, ear, lips, and mouth. Once that is done you can then add the chest.

Step 3.
Continue to sketch out the chipmunks body like you see here, and when it is done you can draw out the front legs and hands. Add some detailing to the fur and snout and then draw in the other ear and eye.

Step 4.
You will now sketch out or draw the hind legs and back feet. Don't forget to draw in the nails or claws and then draw in the eyeball in better detail and add some fur definition too.

Step 5.
For the last drawing step all you have to do is color in the eyes, and then sketch out the thick tail. Sketch in the whiskers, and then erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.
Here is what the chipmunk looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him/her in to finally be done with this lesson. I hope you had fun ya'll!

Description:
Okay, this will be my last submission for the day, but I will be going live later today. To end the drawing day I will be doing another tutorial on "
how to draw a chipmunk
", step by step. This is one of my favorite drawings that I have done on this species of rodent. Unlike most people I have been a fan of the very small chipmunk since the creation of Chip and Dale. Chipmunks are almost like squirrels because they both live in trees, they both eat nuts, and they are both very allusive when they move back and forth from tree to tree. I had a lot of fun making this little critter and to be honest with you the old lesson I have on a chipmunk is pretty horrible. Nonetheless you will be getting a full blown instructional lesson on "
how to draw a chipmunk
". At least this tutorial gives you a better understanding on how drawing a chipmunk should look. Adios people, and be sure you have an awesome time with the rest of your drawing day. Peace!
