Drawing Dragons Fighting
1
You will make the guidelines for the two dragons. Two head shapes, and then the guidelines for the bodies.
2
Let's start with the dragon head that is visible. Sketch out the snout, eyes, and some of the mouth. When that is done draw in the eye and small horns on top of the snout.
3
Continue to work on the dragon's head and face by completing the actual head shape. Draw the frills and fin like glands along the sides of the face and jaw. You will also detail the top of the head between the eyes.
4
You will now begin to draw in the second dragon. Draw the head, jaw, neck and some of the shoulder. As you can see this dragon is getting bitten by the other. There are also small spine bones that flow down the dragon's head, neck and back.
5
Up next, take your time as you draw in the dragon's wings. They are all torn and damaged from the brutal fight so be sure to convey the battle in the drawing.
6
We will now draw the long slithering neck for the other dragon, and then draw the talons or claws which are digging into the dragons skin.
7
Continue to work on the dragons by sketching out the body for the one being attacked, and then draw the leg and foot for the attacked dragon as well as the leg and foot for the dragon who is attacking.
10
Draw another wing and then add the nails on the tips of the points for the wing. You will also need to sketch in some detailing to the dragon wing as well.
11
We will finish the dragons fighting by drawing the last wing. Again, this wing should have rips and tears. Erase the mistakes that you made as well as the various guidelines and shapes.

Description: Okay guys, are you ready for a lesson that is based on an awesome dragon battle? Good, because what I have for you today is a tut that is going to show you how to draw fighting dragons, step by step. These dragons are in flight and they are brutally going at it like you wouldn't believe. Once is an earth dragon and the other is a fire dragon. Both have their own abilities, strengths and weaknesses, but only one will prevail. I have been getting into the whole dragon drawing thing lately, and since someone asked if I could make another lesson on fighting dragons, I said why not. So go ahead and have some fun. If you are a novice artist you might find this lesson a bit difficult so just take your time and enjoy the challenge.
