How to Draw the United States

Step 1.

As you can see it's going to take a patient hand to tackle this lesson and first step because the outline of the country is full of everything. The best way to start is to draw the straightest line which is the back top side. from the right begin ske

Step 2.

Here you will start drawing the first section of states which is on the eastern part of the country. Take your time, as you can see the smallest state on the map is Rhode Island.

Step 3.

Here you will draw in three more states which are places like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Step 4.

Next draw the shapes of Seattle, California, Oregon, and Arizona.

Step 5.

Slowly make your way to sketching out the shapes of more states like you see here. Now you are getting into drawing the mid-land states.

Step 6.

Lastly, sketch out the remaining ten shapes for the last states from the United States map. Erase the mistakes and you are done.

Step 7.

Here is the line art when finished. Now you can either color each state in from this country, or you can just write the names of each state in each block.

Description: I can't forget about doing a lesson on my own country, because of course even though my country is in a bit of a pickle, it's still my home, my place of birth, and my death. Here is "how to draw the United States", step by step. The United States of America is a country that has a mix of every other country into one and I mean that in a descriptive way. America is home to over three hundred million people, fifty states, sixteen territories, and one federal district. The colors of the United States flag is red, white and blue and in the left side of the flag there are fifty stars that roll in a row. The red and white stripes represent the thirteen British colonies. These British colonies are the ones that where declared free or Independence from Great Britain. Anyways, this might be a tricky tutorial to follow so take your time. Whats so time consuming is getting the shapes and sizes of every shape accurate or close to being accurate. Have fun, and remember that you don't have to draw the stripes that I colored the country in with. You can color all the states different colors.
