Start with a circle for the head shape and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw the neck line and then the two shapes for his torso and lower body shapes.

Now that you have drawn out the basic guidelines you can start sketching out the shape of his head and then then the side shapes of his eyes and then the thickness of his neck/face. Draw a long arm line and then add some finger shapes on his left han

You will start this step by drawing out the detail on the left side of Roger's head and then draw out Roger the aliens eyes. Give him some eyelids and pupils and move over to draw out the rest of his face and mouth. Draw his torso out and the rest of

This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out his feet and stubby legs. Finish off his right hand and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Okay, I know everyone liked the first lesson I submitted on how to draw Stan Smith. I thought that it would only be fair to submit another tutorial on an American Dad character that to me, was just as funny and as important to the animated series as Stan Smith. So, for my second tutorial I will be showing you how to draw Roger the Alien from American Dad step by step. Now Rogers character is somewhat child like in many ways. There really isn't too much to say about Rogers background because little is given in the series. All I know is that he has been living with Stan and Francine for a total of four years after he saved Stan's life in Area 51. Roger the alien's character is a bit flamboyant at times and he is often very rude, sarcastic, and even a bit conceited. I like Roger in the animated series because he is over dramatic about everything that effects him in a negative way. There was this one episode when Roger went looking for his first foster family before he lived with the Smiths. Supposedly, they had ditched Roger at a store because they didn't want him living with them anymore. After searching and searching he finally found them and realized that he didn't want to be with them anymore, he would prefer to live with the Smiths because they except him for who he is as an individual. Roger also has an extensive collection of wigs that he tales very good care of. Before he came to earth he used to work as a greeter for Wal-Mart back on his home planet. Since Roger is indeed a space alien, Francine once asked him how old he was and he replied “1600 years old. Wow! Anyway this is a really fun tutorial to learn from because Learning how to draw Roger the alien from American Dad step by step is basically like cutting butter with a flaming hot knife. I will be back with two awesome tutorials so sty tuned and keep drawing.
