How to Draw Max from Where The Wild Things Are

Start with a circle for Max's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shape of the torso and then draw another circle for the butt end of Max. Draw in the guidelines and shapes for the limbs and you can move on.

You will now draw out Max's crown and then start drawing the shape of his eyes, nose and mouth. His wolf suit has whiskers so you will need draw this in as well. Next sketch out the shape of the arms and then draw the fingers too.

You can start drawing out the body and then add the buttons on Max's suit. Be sure to draw out some of his body shape as you see here and then move to the next drawing step.

This is your last step to this tutorial on "how to draw Where The Wild Things Are step by step". What you have to do here is draw out the legs and feet as well as the long bushy wolf tail. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one

Description: Do you remember that bedtime book that was about a young boy who wanted to be something different? He dressed up in a wolf costume and caused havoc in his house. He chased his dog around with a fork, and he talked back to his mother and gave her a nasty growl. The boy I am talking about is Max and as you can see from the tutorial picture, you probably recognize the young lad. This tutorial is going to teach you “how to draw Max from Where The Wild Things Are step by step”. Max goes on an epic journey when his mother sends him to his room without supper for the rest of the night because he is was a naughty boy. When max stepped into his room it was filled with jungle trees and vines and greenery everywhere. He went on his own adventure to where the wild things are and met with a bunch of different monsters that he amazed with a trick. They made him king of the wild things and Max took them on a marvelous adventure until he smelt something good coming from afar. He jumped back in his boat and sailed back to his room where his plate of supper was waiting for him. The story doesn’t go exactly like that, and if you would like to read what the book is really about, you can buy one at the book store or rent it from your local library. The book has been around since the early sixties and has made a lasting impression on children for nearly five decades.
