How to Draw Konata

Start this step by drawing a circle for her head shape and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the guidelines for her body, and then draw the shape of her skirt. Lastly you can draw the limb guidelines as well as the guideline for her

Using the facial guidelines you drew in step one you can start sketching out the shape of her face and then draw in the bold lining for her top eye lids. Draw her slanted excited eyebrows, and then add the shape of her mouth. You will also start sket

Almost completely finish the shape and style of her long messy looking full head of hair and then draw in the shape of her eyes. You will then draw the beginning lines for her shoulders as well.

Here you will finish sketching out her hair and then draw in her hand that is pointing at you as you see here. Once that is done you can draw some of her arm and her collar for her school uniform.

Sketch out the shape of her torso and then her waist. Next sketch out her ruffled skirt and then draw the lined rings at the bottom of her skirt. Next draw the right hand that is one her hip and then move to the next step.

For your last drawing step you will draw her stick like legs and then draw the lines for her socks. Sketch out her small feet and then draw the end tips of her wild looking hair style. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

When you are done your Lucky Star character comes out looking like the one you see here. Color her in and you have just finished this lesson on "how to draw Konata Izumi".

Description: Here is another cool character that I drew two days ago from a very popular manga/anime series called “Lucky Star”. This character has blue colored hair, is an older teenager, and is the main character of the show. I will show you "how to draw Konata Izumi from Lucky Star step by step”. Even though I am submitting this lesson on this particular character, I am not too familiar with the series. I am basically just filling request that was made long ago, but I never filled because I became extremely busy with DragoArt. Anyway let me tell you what I do know about Konata. She is the main character of the series and she looks like a chibi. She has green eyes, and wears one of those sailor outfits that you see the characters from “Sailor Moon" wear. She also goes by the name of “Kona-chan” and she is about seventeen years old. Remember when I said that Konata Izumi looks like a chibi character, that is because she was created to look like she is twelve. Her positive traits are as follows; she is extremely smart, and she is really good at playing sports. Like most of us at Dragoart, she loves watching anime/manga series as well as regular television shows, she loves playing video games like the PS2, and most of all she likes reading. I know she sounds like she is the type of person that you would love to hang around with, but honestly she is also very lazy and she teases Kagami Hiiragi. Like most seventeen year old's, she has a job at the local cosply cafe. Now, Lucky Star is a story that follows the lives of several girls that attend a Japanese high school named Ryōō. There is a total of four girls and their names are Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, Miyuki Takara, and of course Konata Izumi. This tutorial will show you “how to draw Konata Izumi step by step”.
