How to Draw Fred From Big Hero 6

Fred has a long shaped face. You will draw in the guides to form the frame for Fred's head, face and body like so.

Here you will begin using the face guide by sketching out the structure of Fred's face like so. He has some hair that sticks out from his hat which is what those small temple marks are.

Draw in the eyebrows first, then the top arches for the eyes. Lastly draw in the big shape of Fred's long nose.

Finish the eyes and give Fred a big, friendly smile. Also add some crease lines about the lids.

We will now draw in Fred's hat and the short spiky hair that rests on his neck. You will then need to draw the shape of his neck, then add a face to the knit style hat.

Since he is wearing two shirts. you will need to draw two collars. Draw in the layers of collars.

Draw the shoulders, and then draw the arms. Cross the arms over and then add some detailing to the short sleeves.

Add the necklace around the neck and then finish drawing the arms. Don't forget to add some fingers too.

For the rest of the drawing all you need to do is draw the rest of the torso shape. Erase the mistakes and guides then you're done.

Here is Fred or Fredzilla when you are done. Now you can color him in to bring this colorful character to life.

Description: For any of you who went to go see Big Hero 6 or about to go see Big Hero 6 today, the next few lessons are for you. I will start with "how to draw Fred from Big Hero 6". He is one of the main characters from the film and is the mascot for San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. Fred is also know as 'Fredzilla'. He wears a knit style hat with a long sleeve shirt under his red tee shirt. I guess he is also supposed to be a big time comic book fan and that characteristic about him makes Fred's character stand out. Anyways, enjoy the tut and look for the other Big Hero 6 drawings still to come.
