How to Draw an Earring

You will start by drawing the shape of the ear like so.

Next, add detailing inside the ear to make it realistic as possible. This is the cartilage.

Draw in the moon, then draw four stars that flow up the ear shape.

Add detailing to the moon and stars, then you can proceed to step five.

Have some detailing inside the ear, then you can proceed to step six.

Lastly, sketch in the shape of the girl's head in the form of her pulled up hairstyle. Draw the shape of her face which is the jawline, then draw the shape of her slender neck. Erase the mistakes and don't forget to add some detailing to her hairstyl

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color in the drawing and have some fun tackling another tut.

Description: This lesson goes out to my sister who just purchased an earring much like the one you see in this lesson. Today I will be showing you all how to draw an earring, step by step. This style earrings not only goes through the lobe and then extends all the way up the shape of the ear to the top of the cartilage. The one my sister has is not purple, instead it's more like a dark midnight shade. Anyways, I know you will enjoy this tut because it's for all you folks out there who love jewelry and love this style earrings. Have some fun and color the earring any shade you like.
