Description: Hello everyone this is your fellow artist Dragon_Queen formally known as Dragon_King. Some of you may be wondering why the name change, all I can say is “I’m a girl not a boy”. Anyway, today’s tutorial is going to be on another character that is associated with autumn months. This animal has become a typical symbol of a holiday that is celebrated in the month of November. I’m sure you already know what I’m gonna say, “Thanksgiving” your right. Thanksgiving is a traditional holiday that is celebrated by most North Americans. The very first Thanksgiving Day took place between the Native Americans and the Pilgrims on September 8, 1565 in Plymouth Massachusetts. It is a day of giving and thanks for all the bountiful food that shared amongst the white man and the Indians. This tutorial is going to show you how to draw a Thanksgiving Turkey. The turkey has become such an important part on the day of harvest, that Americans have created some what of an animated character. This tutorial was fun because I had a chance to draw my very own turkey. I love thanksgiving because all the food is delicious and you have such a wide variety to choose from when making your plate. Not only do you get to eat good food, but you also visit almost all of your relatives that you haven’t seen in a while. Thanksgiving in my house is so awesome. I sit and watch my mother prepare her turkey and make her traditional stuffing. I come from a Portuguese background so of course I have the enjoyment of eating Portuguese prepared food. This tutorial will show you an easy way to learn "how draw a turkey step by step". When you are done you can either display him in your window or you can just print out the one I drew, color him in and place the festive turkey where you wish. I will be back with more tutorials in a bit. Stick around and tackle something new until I return.
