Description: What is one of the prettiest insects in the world? I know what you're saying to yourself “insects?”. I mean, when you hear the word bug or insect, some of us automatically get a mental image of an ant, beetle, black fly, flies, or something else that is completely annoying or disgusting. I'm not talking about skeevie bugs, I'm talking about butterflies. I wanted to do a tutorial on something in simple form, that everyone would enjoy. So, this next lesson is going to show you "how to draw a simple butterfly", step by step. The realistic butterfly that I drew and submitted a few days ago came out to be really sweet. I can't begin to tell you how much fun I had when I drew this winged insect. I can remember growing up as a child, and all I was fascinated with at one point was butterflies. The many different sizes, shapes, and colors that these bold looking creatures come in, was simply amazing to me. After a while I grew out of the whole concept, and switched to loving dragons. I figure it like this, going from loving butterflies to dragons is just an upgrade in preference. Like the butterfly, dragons have long bodies, and big beautiful wings. One thing you can say about these two totally different species is, no matter how disgusting, or ugly one may be, the wings of a dragon or butterfly are always so beautiful. Anyway, I think you guys will love this lesson that will teach you in easy detail, "how to draw a simple butterfly". When you are done, you can color in your pretty drawing, and add all the wonderful summer shades you like. I however will be back in a jiffy with more lessons on the way for you all to explore and enjoy. Peace out people!
