How to Draw Bugs
1
You first need to draw the body shapes and guidelines that will make up your bugs bodies. As always start by drawing the heads, and then draw the other parts of their body as shown to you here. Next draw the legs and then for the fly the one wing gui

You will now sketch out the thorax, and abdomen for the ants body, as well as the mandibles. Next sketch out the spiders chelicera, and then the long arched legs. For the fly, you will need to draw the shape of the legs, and then the palps and then t

Continue to sketch out the leg shapes for the ant, fly, and spider. The fly and spider have tiny hairs that need to be added as well. Detail and define the heads and then move to the next step.

You are almost done with this tutorial. Finish off the ants body by sketching out the bugs antenna, legs, and then add definition by adding the hairs. Finish drawing the spiders body as well and then draw the rest of the fly's body, then add hair, an

For your last drawing step all you have to so is finish sketching out the fly's legs and then the body. Sketch in all the tiny hairs on the body and then you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: If you looked at a study to see what was some of the more common phobias that people have, you will see that insects falls in the top ten category of most feared along with claustrophobia. I have plenty of lessons on all different types of creepy crawlers. I wanted to draw something that included a series of three types of annoying insects that some of us hate, and then again some of us love them too. So, without further ado, I will be teaching you “how to draw bugs, step by step”. There is three bugs that you will be getting a lesson on all in one shot, an ant, a fly, and of course a spider. Even though people have phobias toward spiders, I think they are pretty cool looking, when they are not in front of me that is. Ants can most definitely be an annoying insect especially in the summer months. They infest your homes, yards, and even garbage cans. One thing I hate about ants is that they remind me of bottom feeders. They don't really fight for their food because their always scrounging on the ground or where ever there is food readily available. I mean they will even swarm melted candy like gum, and hard sweets. Flies are pretty filthy too. You almost have to always cover your food when you cook outdoors because flies can't wait to land on them and start spitting all kinds of nasty acidic fluids to dissolve what they want to eat. Spiders on the other hand actually have to hunt for their food unlike ants and flies. That is why I have more respect for these bugs or insects because they have to strategize how they are going to eat. I think that these bugs came out awesome, and probably better that all the other bugs I ever drew. I hope you guys have fun with this lesson that will show you "how to draw bugs step by step". They all look awesome, and it will definitely be a fun concept to draw any day of the week. Peace out folks and have fun!
