Step 1.
Draw a circle for the head and then add the guidelines for the face, neck, torso, and arms like you see here. In the end it should look like a stick figure.

Step 2.
Now begin sketching out Pikachu's face like you see here. Now if you have drawn Pikachu before you should already know that he is pretty simple to make. Once the face is drawn, you can go ahead and make his long rabbit like ears, and a dot for the n
ose. Lastly, add the top mouth line.

Step 3.
Now you can start sketching out the arms and nubs for Pikachu and when you are doing this you also need to incorporate the same lining to form his entire body including the legs.

Step 4.
For the last step all you have to do is draw out his electrifying tail, and then add the toe lines. You will also need to draw the marking lines on his ears, cheeks, and color in his eyes. Once that is done you may now draw out the mouth and tongue.
Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up this drawing.

Here is what your Pokemon turns out looking like when you are all done. Color him in and you just completed this lesson on how to draw a Pokemon.

Description:
If you click on the Pokémon characters link under the Anime section, I think you will find that there are a bunch of tutorials on all sorts of different Pokémon species. Today I thought I would add another version of Pikachu and call the lesson “"
how to draw a Pokémon
", step by step. The reason why I chose a Pikachu for the character image is because he is one of the first Pokémon species to have been introduced to the anime and game series. I found and submitted a video link to a Pokémon a while ago, and since then I thought making a newer version of Pikachu would be cool since the series is still very popular. There is always new and improved species being added on a monthly basis and because of that I have to stay on top of my game and be sure to create tutorials on the newer species that are constantly being introduced. I could use your help as well because even though I am a fan of Pokémon, it’s hard for me to actually keep up with the series and all the new characters that are added. If there is a new popular or exciting species or human character that you think would make a great lesson, please tell me and let me know. That is all I have to say about this submission, be sure to have an awesome time teaching yourself "

", and that Pokémon is Pikachu. Adios people and enjoy your drawing day!
