How to draw a Drazdil

Step 1.


So lets start with the guidelines. Draw a big circle for a head, line for a neck, two large circles for a body with a spine and a tail line. Then add arms and legs.

Step 2.


Draw his head with a long jaws and big eyes. Add a massive neck.

Step 3.


Draw his arms with a long fingers and add a chest line.

Step 4.


Draw the rest of the body - legs and tail.

Step 5.


Here is what you are supposed to have.

Step 6.


Take eraser and get rid of the useless guidelines. Add details to the head: draw teeth, an eyebrow and a long tongue. Add spikes to the neck.

Step 7.


Now, add details to the arms and chest.

Step 8.


...and to the rest of his body.

Step 9.


Here is what you are supposed to have.

Step 10.


Now is time for shading. Add some "guideshadows" with HB pencil.

Step 11.


Take a 5B pencil and add some darkness to the head, neck, arms, legs and the rest of the body.

Step 12.


C'mon, we're almost done! Take a piece of paper and correct the shadows.

Step 13.


Now correct your mistakes with eraser. After that, take a 2B pencil and make the lines more clear. You can add some lines if you want. That's all!

Description: I was asked to make a tut, so...here it is. I'll try to teach you how to draw my OC Drazdil. He's some kind of a Hell Hound, I guess. My scaner is a little bad, so sorry if smthing is wrong with shadows&etc.
