How to Draw a Cartoon Manatee

Learning how to draw a cartoon manatee is very easy. What you have to do first is draw two main circle shapes, one for the head and the other for the body of the animal. Once that is done you can then add the facial guidelines and then the arch shape

In step two you will draw out the shape of the manatee's mouth and nose and then two eyes and eyebrows. The eyes have arched bump lines to add the effect of a smiling face.
3
You will draw the shape of the flippers and then the lining for the cartoon manatee's belly. When that is done add some wrinkled lines for the neck as you see here.

Sketch out the rest of the lining shape of your cartoon manatee and then sketch in a few whiskers on the muzzle of the animal. Next draw the eyeballs and color them in and then draw the rest of the manatees tail shape as you see here. Erase all the g

Description: There are sea animals that spend almost all of their days under water, but eventually they have to come up for air. Unless of course the sea creature we are talking about happens to be an octopus or a crab, those animals have no need to come up for air because the water is their air. There are also sea animals that are very human like that we humans marvel over everyday. Dolphins, whales, seals, and other aquatic mammals are just so fascinating and because of that, it makes us want to draw them, print them, and save them. I got a request a while ago asking that I do a tutorial on “how to draw a cartoon manatee" step by step. Of course I was like “yeah no problem I can do that”, because I think manatees are beautiful creatures. The manatee was once mistaken for mermaids back in the day when sailors used to practically live on the ocean waters. Drawing a cartoon manatee is fun, and if you have the right lesson it is also very helpful. I like drawing cartoon animals to look not only like a cartoon, but to also have some kind of resemblance of the real thing. Another words, I don’t like drawing these cartoon characters and animals to come out looking like a total cartoon, I want the drawings to actually look like the animal still. The dolphin I drew and the manatee that I am about to submit still look like the real thing in a cartoon format. I know you guys will like this lesson because it is incredibly cute, and you will actually learn "how to draw a cartoon manatee step by step". I have a whole bunch of tutorials to submit today so stick around because you will be seeing a lot more than you bargained for. Peace out and happy drawing.
