How to Draw Grim

Start this first step drawing out the guidelines and shapes of Grim. First draw a small circle for his head with facial guidelines sketched in. Now draw a boxed bottom half for his jaw mainly. From that jaw shape draw out the guidelines for his arms,

Here the first thing you will do is draw a out his pointed cheek bones. The right cheek bone curves in and connects to the jaw as you can see here. Now from that curved in shape draw a curled claw nail shape for the hood of his cloak. After that draw

In this step you will finish off the face of Grim. Draw the shape of the opening part of his hood which is shaped like a tear drop. Now draw two small perfect circles for his eye sockets and two lined eyebrows. Next give him a hollow looking triangle

All you need to do here is draw in his bold looking scythe. It looks like a curved in flag. This is a very simple object to draw out. Now draw the staff of the scythe. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: I figured that if I drew and submitted Mandy and Billy, I should also draw and submit their best friend Grim or as we know him the grim reaper. As we all know a grim reaper is a being that is thousands and thousands years old. His main purpose is to collect souls and bring them to the underworld. Of course that is not the case for Grim in this hit animated T.V. series that airs on Cartoon Network. Learning "how to draw Grim" from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, is going to be a lot easier then you think. It all starts when Grim loses a limbo contest and he is sent to earth to be best friends with Billy and Mandy no matter how annoying he may think they are. He looks like your typical cartoon reaper. He has a skeletal face and hands with eyes and nose socket holes that are pitch black. He wears a long hooded cloak and carries around a scythe where ever he goes. Not only is he like 10,000 years old, he also speaks with a Jamaican accent. The main source of all his powers comes from his scythe. He possesses a ton of magical powers and, he is also capable to perform magic without his scythe. Even though he is suppose to be Billy and Mandy’s best friend, the duo treat him more like a slave. Billy and Mandy make Grim do their chores, and run all kinds of errands for them like a first class joke. What gets me is how they still have the nerve to ask Grim to create sources of supernatural fun for them so they are not bored with themselves. Like any other typical Reaper, Grim enjoys doing things as well. Not things that most of us would do, but still he has fun doing his own thing. Like he enjoys all kinds of chaos, despair, torture, and violence. He participates in the children’s martial arts classes and in his free time you will often see Grim watching a butt load of television. This is a fun tutorial and I know you will like learning how to draw Grim from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
