Description: Hello fellow artist and welcome back to another tutorial created by me, Dragon_King. Today’s tutorials are all going to be relatively easy to draw. Lately I have been putting up semi complex drawings that may be too hard for some of you. So this first tutorial of the day will be on "how to draw Aladdin" from the popular animated Disney movie. Aladdin is a young man that lives the life of a peasant along with his pet monkey Abu. He dreams of one day living behind the palace walls and have a sense of freedom in his life. Right now Aladdin is referred to as a “street rat”. He spends most of his days ducking from guards and stealing food from local vender's so he and Abu can eat. On the other side of the world there is a young woman named Princess Jasmine. Princess Jasmine feels the exact opposite of what Aladdin feels. Instead of living behind the palace walls she wants to live out in the free world. Jasmine has a mind of her own, so one day she escapes the palace dressed as a commoner to conceal her real identity. One day as she walks along the streets of Agrabah in the marketplace, she watches a young child reaching for an apple. Jasmine takes the apple and gives it to the child unaware that she is suppose to pay for it. The vender becomes furious and ready's his scimitar to chop off her hand until Aladdin comes to her aid. Aladdin takes Jasmine to where he lives and the two hit it off almost immediately. Jafar is another character in this Disney cartoon and he plays the part of the Royal Vizier to the Sultan. Jafar is on a mission to get his hands on a magic lamp so he can wish his way to conquer the world. The only problem is he needs the “diamond in the rough” to get it for him. Jafar’s partner in crime is Iago the parrot and the two work together to finally find out that Aladdin is this diamond in the rough that they are looking for. Jafar uses his magic to find out where the boy is and has the guards of the palace arrest him for kidnapping Princess Jasmine. Of course it was a made up excuse to arrest Aladdin to get him in the dungeon where Jarfar is waiting dressed up as a rank old man. The old man persuades Aladdin to go down to the Cave of Wonders and seek out the magic lamp. The rule is not to touch anything but the lamp or else you will have to pay the consequences. Aladdin eventually gets the magic lamp but Abu was tempted and grabbed a huge jewel which caused the cave to collapse. Aladdin, Abu and Magic Carpet (whom they met on the way) where all stuck in the cave until Aladdin rubbed the magic lamp. Once he did out came the very funny and powerful Genie. Aladdin later got out of the cave with help from the Genie and all his wishes came true (of course not without some sort of fight). This tutorial will show you how to draw Aladdin step by step. The detailed instructions make this tutorial easy to learn and draw. I hope you have fun, I will be back with more fun tutorials for your learning pleasure.
