Step 1.

Draw two circles. one for the head and one for the body. Draw the facial guidelines and then draw the torso guidelines as well. You will leave this step by drawing out the legs.

Step 2.

Draw the eyes, eyebrows, and then the small nose top and squirrel mouth. Add some bucked teeth and you are done here.

Step 3.

Sketch out the shape of the ears and then sketch out the puffy cheeks that this cartoon squirrel has. Color in the pupils and then detail inside of the ears.

Step 4.

You can now draw out the lines for the arms and begin the lining for the lower portion of the heart.

Step 5.

Finish off the heart and then sketch out the rest of the arms, and hands and then sketch out the incredibly big tail that looks like a puff ball.

Step 6.

Sketch out the shape of the feet and thighs and then you will sketch out both sides of the cartoon squirrels stomach. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and move onto the next step.

Step 7.

Here is what your finished product should look like when you are done. Color him in and you have completed this tutorial on "how to draw a cartoon squirrel step by step".

Description: Look how cute forest animals can be if you know how to draw them out properly. I know I must have said this a bunch of times, but I feel I have to keep telling you guys how much I love drawing cartoon animals. Because of that I am about to show you “how to draw a squirrel" step by step. This squirrel is not your ordinary tree dweller, he is also a very loving soul that just wants to be loved and talked to. I drew him holding a nicely shaped heart, and colored it in red. I was thinking about Pepe La Pew when I drew out this cartoon squirrel because he is a skunk that loves chasing after the women because he wants to be loved and adored. All I did was sketch out a simple squirrel shape and then I drew further and made the character that you will learn from now. Teaching you guys "how to draw a cartoon squirrel" is a fun way to communicate my love for art. I am leaving now because I have a lot more work to do. Tackle this lesson on “how to draw a cartoon squirrel”, and you will see that there is fun no matter what you draw. Have fun and stay creative all you art lovers out there!
