Step 1.
Start with a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw out the shape of the whole body like so, and then draw out the limb shapes too.

Step 2.
Thicken the lining for the head, and then draw curly hair, and beard like you see here. Lastly, draw out the honker of a nose.

Step 3.
Continue to draw out the curly locks, and then draw in the circles for the eyes, and ear like so. When that is all set you can add a mouth, some eyebrows, and then draw out the upper body of the cloak that he is wearing.

You are almost on your way to finished genius. All you have to do is sketch out the other loose sleeve, and then draw out the rest of the robe. Draw in his hand, and then draw out the feet. Don't forget to draw the strap on his cloak too.

Description:
Happy Halloween everyone, and welcome to a ghoulish night at Dragoart.com. Before I get into the nitty gritty of things, I thought I would upload a tutorial on "how to draw a shepherd", step by step. Now some of you guys may know exactly what a shepherd is, and then again some of you may not know. I will break down the 411 on these men of history. A shepherd is an individual that tends to, cares for, and herds flocks of sheep. Some of you may not know that herding has been around for thousands of years. Sheep are still herded to this day for milk, cheese, meat, and most importantly, their wool. Sheep herding is a profession that has been pasted down from generations, to generations which is why there is a perfection to the herding process. This tutorial is going to show you an easy way to learn "how to draw a shepherd", and the great thing is you can use your drawing for one of the only holidays that celebrates the life of a shepherd. Of course I'm talking about Christmas. As you know Jesus was a sheep herder, and so was a few other men from history. Anyways, you will have an awesome time with this tutorial. If you want you can add as many sheep as you like to make your shepherd look real genuine. Adios people, and make sure you collect all the candy you can get.
