Stuffed Fox Drawing Lesson

Draw a couple shapes for the fox. Start with the facial guidelines and then the tail guide.

You will then draw the shape of the head. Notice how there are angles instead of being rounded.

We will now draw the shapes of the fox's ears. When that is done add the marking lines at the tips of each ear.

Using the facial guideline, draw the large shapes of the fox's eyes. Color them in hollow as well. Draw the nose tip and the stitching down the center of the face and body.

Lastly, draw the round bell shaped body and then draw the puffy tail. Don't forget the tip shape for the tail tuft as well. Erase your mistakes as well as your guides.

Here is the line art. Now just color in your stuffed fox drawing.

Description: The idea for this lesson came to me when I was looking through the artwork, and in that pile of endless art, I saw a drawing of a dog that looked like a stitched up puppy. Today, I will be starting a series of stuffed animal drawings in a way that they look used, abandoned and abused. Let us start with this one on how to draw a stuffed fox, step by step. Of all the stuffed animals this is my favorite. It is also the first of the collection that I drew. The coloring, background and actual concept came out exceptionally good. The best part to this, and all the upcoming tuts is that they will all be relatively easy to replicate. So go ahead and get busy. I will be back with the rest in a bit.
