How to Draw a Turkey for Kids

Artist: Dawn / August 8, 2011

Step 1.

Make two egg shapes and then add the facial guides for the turkey's face.

Step 2.

Start drawing out the actual outline of the turkey's body starting with the head, and draw in the neck, and then the body.

Step 3.

You will get the whole face drawn in next, and when you start be sure to use the facial guidelines. Draw the eyes, eyeballs, beak, and gobbler. Add some dashes on the shoulders for the wings.

Step 4.

All you have to do here in step four is draw out the stubby thick legs and then draw in the two toed feet.

Step 5.

For the last step all you have to do is draw in the fanned out tail which is neat. Erase all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Color in your new turkey and even save the picture for Thanksgiving.
