How to Draw a Squirrel for Kids
1
Make two shapes, one for the head, and another for the body. These two shapes should be touching each other.
2
Sketch out the head and face of the squirrel which is all going to be in a side view. Draw in the ears, and then sketch out the fur that is hanging from the bottom of the cheeks.
3
Next, draw a large shaped eye like so, and then draw in an eyeball. You will then draw a nose tip and then sketch in the squirrels teeth and lower jaw.
4
Draw the front neck line, and then draw in the front arms and paws. Draw the acorn that the squirrel is holding, and then move to step five.
5
Draw out the back of the neck, and then sketch out the arched back, the thighs, and then the long back feet like so. Don't forget to add the lines for the toes.
6
For the last step, all you have to do is draw out the very squared shaped tail which is curled up in a swirl. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then lets see how you did.
