Description: That was a really cool tutorial that I just submitted on how to draw figures, and I know you guys are having a blast with it. I want to now focus on some more figures that everyone loves drawing. This second lesson of the day will teach you “how to draw kids step by step”. Drawing kids is something that is a bit easier to draw. The reason being is because kids have shorter, smaller body parts making them less complex to sketch out. The heads of kids are bolder, the eyes are wider and less detailed, and the bodies are more stubby which means the shapes are thicker. Thicker shapes means easy drawing. I would still label this lesson intermediate just because drawing kids or any other form of a human figure, can still be a bit complex when you’re a novice artist. Now that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try this tutorial out because you should. The only way to get better is to do things repeatedly until you are at the level you want to be at. Even then, there is always room to become better at what you do even if you are a master. Even masters learn new things everyday that enables them to become better at being a master of their craft. The two kids in this lesson is a girl and a boy. The girl is laying on her belly looking up at the sky, and the boy is just being a boy by running to go play with one of his friends. If you would like to learn how to draw anime kids, I also have a lesson on that as well. All you have to do to get to that tutorial is, go under the anime/manga category, and click on “female body”. I really did have a great time drawing these children out. If you are a parent of kids that are old enough to draw, you can let your children have a swing at this lesson and I am sure you will find that drawing kids is fun, colorful, and engaging. Once you pick up that pencil and start this lesson on “how to draw kids step by step”, you will want to keep drawing them just so you can color their clothes differently, or to change their hair styles and color. I will be back two more times because I still have some drawing fun on the way. Peace out people, and happy drawing!
