How to Draw Children

Step 1.


Let's get started with this lesson on drawing children step by step. You will start with two head shapes and then add the facial gudielines. Next draw stick men like bodies which includes the limbs and all.

Step 2.


In this step you will first draw out the shapes of their faces and then draw the beginning hair style lines as you see here. Once that is done you can draw the beginning lining for their eyes and then move to the next step.

Step 3.


You can now finish the shape of the boys head and hair. Next draw the shape of the girls hat with the little knit ball on the top. Finish her hair style as well and then draw in their eyes and pupils. Next draw the shapes of the mouths and nose holes   

Step 4.


For your last drawing step you will draw out the shapes of the legs and then draw the children's feet which are sneakers. Once that is done you can go ahead and start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 5.


When you are done with this lesson on "how to draw children step by step", you will have a drawing that looks like the one you see here. All you need to do now is color them in.

Description: There is some really cool lessons on the way right now and I will start with a tutorial on “how to draw children step by step”. Learning how to draw children is something that requires a lot of imagination and drawn expression. I submitted a lesson or two that describe how to draw kids, and anime kids. This tutorial will show you the easy way to draw children, so that you will be able to draw all your brothers, sisters, and cousins with little difficulty. The two kids that I drew carry a resemblance to chibi or manga kids that you see in comics or animated series on TV. They came out so incredibly cute and I have to say that I like these characters better than the ones I drew in the past. They both look like they just came off the school bus and are extremely happy to be home. As you can tell I drew these two children to be brother and sister, one boy and one girl. If your going to teach yourself how to draw kids, you might as well learn from a tutorial that shows you how to draw a boy and a girl. Well that is all for now, I will surely be back in a few with more drawing fun. Peace out peeps and have fun teaching yourself “how to draw children step by step”.
