How to Draw Baby Birds

For the first step on "how to draw a baby bird", you will draw a circle for the bird head and then draw the facial guidelines. Next draw another circle for the body and then the shape for the bird tail.

Start sketching out the feathery lining for the shape of the baby birds head, cheeks, and a little of the chest.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes, cheek bumps and then the triangular shape for the baby bird beak.

See how easy this tutorial is so far? What I want you to do next is draw out the shape of the beak and then sketch out the chest and wings being sure to make the lining feathery.

Draw out and color in the pupils and then add some eye lashes and eyebrows as seen here. Sketch in some feather detailing to the wings and chest and then move to the next drawing step.

Wow look how cute your baby bird is coming out. What I want you to do here is start drawing out the legs, bird feet, and add lines for the tail feathers.

Now that you have reached your last drawing step all you need to do now is finish drawing out the baby bird legs and then sketch out the tree branch that the cute bird is standing on. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and

Description: How about a lesson on “how to draw a baby bird” step by step. You guys know I love drawing baby animals whether it be anime baby animals or regular cartoon type animals. I was very happy to hear that someone wanted a baby bird as a tutorial because I’m actually trying to draw all kinds of different baby animals so that they are readily available for you all to learn from and enjoy. I had a touch time thinking up a specific bird that would be the cutest. So what I did was choose the most prettiest bird and drew the animal out. So having sad that you will not only be teaching yourself to “draw a baby bird“, you will be teaching yourself “to draw a blue jay” as well. No matter what type of baby animal you are looking to draw, they are almost always easy to follow making it that much easier to learn from if you find the right drawing tutorial. I think I have said enough for now but I sure will be back with more drawing lessons that are sure to please. Peace out and stay happy!
