How to Draw a Hat
1
So you want to draw a hat? Well I can assure you that this lesson will be pretty simple for anybody to try. Start by drawing the squared shape for the actual size and form of the top hat. You will then draw the ring around the hat shape for brim.
2
You will now draw out the shape of the hat in a more bolder, shapely fashion. Next draw the shape for the hatband which is the fabric that wraps around the hat.
3
Finally you will sketch out the hats lip that is apart of the brim as you see here and when that is done you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Description: Hello everyone I'm back with another fun filled lesson for you all today. I can see that the Batman symbol is doing rather well, which is a good thing because that means I submitted something that people enjoy. Today I will upload a tutorial that will teach you “how to draw a hat step by step”. Hats have become a fashion accessory for men, woman, and children, and there is all different types of hats that can be purchased on the market today. When you want to learn from a lesson that teaches you how to draw baseball hats, you want to learn from quality. Unfortunately this is not going to be a tutorial on that particular hat. There is so many different types of hats to choose from when it comes to drawing. For example you can draw top hats, beanies, berets, boonie hats, cloche hats, bowler hats, the more popular cowboy hats, fezs, fedoras, panama hats, tribly hats, and so on an so forth. The hat in this lesson is of a top hat, and I chose to draw this type of head accessory because that is the first hat that came to mind. All I could think about is a magician pulling a white rabbit from his black top hat. Another cartoon character that is famous for his hat is Alice in Wonderlands crazy character, Mad Hatter. He wears an over-sized top hat with a pined tag on the side. Now, just because he wears such a hat, that is not the reason why he is called the “Mad Hatter”. Pirates have awesome hats too, and maybe sometime in the future I will make a lesson to teach you how to draw a pirate hat as well. Hats have been used since time began. Back when the world was new, there was all sorts of objects that people wore on their heads either for protection, and or for fashion. Pharaohs, and queens wore hats, and so did slaves, and farmers. No matter how you look at it, almost every person in the world must have worn a hat on their heads at one point. Well, that does it for me with this description. I will be back in a few, but in the mean time, have fun learning "how to draw a hat". Remember drawing hats is something that can be very fun because you can be as creative as you want to be. Adios me amigos, and happy drawing!
