About: My name is Michael Yakutis. I live in Northern California and have been working as an freelance comic book artist for a number of years now. My body of work ranges from slice of life and humor webcomics to independently published science fiction dramas. I am an avid fan of the horror genre and am currently working on my own horror series which I hope to publish in the near future entitled The Maidens. In addition to comics I have illustrated children's books, book covers, album art, film production art, storyboards, video game concept art, and much more. I am also the co-founder of the growing online community, WebcomicUnderdogs.com and community liaison for MakingComics.com.
