How to Draw an Anime Witch, Anime Witch Girl

Step 1.


You can begin by making a medium sized circle for the witch's head and then draw out the guides which are for the face, neck, and body frame.

Step 2.


Using the shape that you drew in step one, begin sketching out the shape of the face and as you can see, this anime witch has sharp lines and points for her facial design. Next, sketch out her bangs which are in a spread out display in chunk pieces,    

Step 3.


So far so good, she is coming along nicely. Here you will draw out the thick top eye lid lines like so, and then draw in the shapes of her eyes. When that is done make her nose, and then draw the mouth.

Step 4.


Here comes the real fun. You will slowly begin to sketch out the entire shape of the witch's hat which appears to be fitted just right. I kept the point of the hat short instead of a long cone, and to finish the hat off with some sweetness, I made a    

Step 5.


Now that the face, head, and hat is all done, you can begin working on her body. Begin with light sketching as you draw out the neck. Next, work your way through until her shoulders and arms are all drawn in, and then draw her long rope style necklac   

Step 6.


Trust me, you are almost done. Draw in the rest of her sleeve and right hand which is upward and closed. Next, draw the Halloween trick or treat bucket that happens to be in the shape of a pumpkin. Draw in a cute chibi face, and move to step seven.

Step 7.


Now it is time to get her torso drawn in because after this step there is only one more to go. Draw out her torso and notice how I kept the breast much smaller this time. The top is a halter style and it is also the kinds of shirts that show the bell   

Step 8.


Continue drawing your anime witch and here you have to sketch out her waist, hips and cute little ruffled mini skirt.

Step 9.


Finish the length of the hair and you are ready to start cleaning up the drawing. Once you have erased the mistakes and guides, you move along to step ten to see how your drawing should look.

Step 10.


"Isn't she lovely, isn't she beautiful!" That's actually a line from a Stevie Wonder song. Well, her she is, your new anime style witch. Have fun coloring her in and be sure to come back and join me again with more drawing fun.

Description: Let’s get this show on the road shall we? The first lesson I will submit for you is going to be on "how to draw an anime witch", step by step. I worked really hard on this drawing and at first I didn’t think it was going to turn out all that good. After tweaking with the sketched out image, I finally found the perfect pose, concept, and style that she was going to stay in. I uploaded the finished concept sketch on my Facebook page so all can see what I was working on. As I have said before, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I think it’s mainly because the kid in me comes through with little effort. The colors, style, and even facial expression conveys how I feel about Halloween. Turning your typical witch into an anime version was fun for me because I love drawing anime, and I love designing new characters for special occasions. Anyways, I don’t know what else I can say about this submission except have fun drawing an anime witch. Remember to upload your finished work when you are all done because I really love looking at artwork from other people, it actually inspires me.
