How to Draw Nightmare Rarity

Make the circle for the head, then draw in the odd shape for the body. Connect the two with a neck line.

Begin drawing the shape of Nightmare Rarity's face or snout, then draw the her mouth.

Here you will draw the elongated eyelid along with her lashes.

Finish drawing out her eye which is also large, but beautiful. Add the nose holes and move to step five.

Okay, draw her unicorn horn, then draw the first ear. Add the detailing on her horn then the ring that lays under the base of the unicorn horn.

Add the sparkle and add detailing to the ear and head piece.

You will now draw the shape of the head and back, and along with that draw in some of her long flowing mane but only the part that rests on her neck.

All you have to do here is draw the neck and chest, then draw the choker around the base of her neck. Add detailing to the jewel, then move along to step nine.

Up next, draw the front legs with one of them raised. Add the belly line and along to step ten you will go.

Sketch out the long flowing mane in a curly or wavy manner. Add the hair strands to define or add texture to her mane.

Next, draw the rest of her body excluding one of the hooves, then move to step twelve.

Draw the long wavy tail like so. As you can see it also looks like a ribbon.

Add strand lines to the tail hair, then erase the mistakes and guides.

Description: I don't know why I never made this lesson before because I think this form of Rarity is absolutely beautiful and cool. Up next we will learn "how to draw Nightmare Rarity", step by step. There was an episode in My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic known as 'Nightmare Arc' where Nightmare Rarity was against the other ponies. I sometimes get bored with drawing My Little Pony characters, but this version of Rarity was wicked fun. Making the mane big and flowing and adding all the sparkles was so girly that I went from liking black as my favorite color, to pink and purple. I know there are a lot of Bronies out there so to all, I give you this. Enjoy folks and peace out.
