Step 1.


As always you will start this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes that will make up the nicely drawn out body frame for your Marvel superhero named Storm. Start with a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will t

In this second step you will start sketching out Storms facial features as well as her long white hair style lined shape. First draw the shape of her face and then draw out her eyes, nose and mouth. Once that is complete you can sketch out the outlin

Here you will sketch out all the detailing lines for her hair strands as seen here. Once that is complete you can draw out her eyes in more shapely detail and then sketch out more of her nose and mouth. Draw out the designed neck collar which will re

Now that you are on step four already, you will start sketching out the shape of her arms, torso and waist. Once her arms are drawn out you can start sketching out the shape and position of her fingers and hands. Sketch out the chest and then draw in   

Step 5.


Now that you have drawn out her body shape including arms and hands, you can start adding the detailing to her gloves and then to her chest top. Define and detail her stomach and then draw out and thicken her hips and thighs.

Step 6.


Define her shoulders and then add more definition to her torso area. You can then draw out and detail her pants and add the stretch crease lines on her crotch area as seen here. You will sketch out the design on her pants at the knees which look a lo

Welcome to your last drawing step. All you have to do here is draw out the shapes of her lower legs which is her calves and or shins and feet. As you can tell Storm is wearing boots so you must convey that in the drawing detailing. Erase all the guid

Description: I have been working hard lately on the layout of the site and on some new tutorials that I think you guys will be happy with. The first lesson I am going to submit is on "how to draw Storm from X-Men step by step". I was going through some of my comments and all three tutorials today will be out of request. A few members requested that I do more tutorials to show how to draw Marvel comics characters and that is what I am doing now. As many of you know Storm is one of the most popular of all Marvel Comics characters. In all the three X-Men movies, she was played by Halle Berry and I think that they choose a perfect actress to play a superhero like Storm. Storm is also used in almost all of the animated series episodes that used to air on TV all the time, and she is also a very popular character in the Marvel Comics magazines with her first issue being "Giant Size X-Men" back in 1975. Her real name is Ororo Munroe. Ororo is the daughter of N'Dare who is a princess in a tribe located in Kenya. Storm and her mother come from a along line of African woman that are born with white hair and blue eyes, and they also have a natural talent when it comes to sorcery. Her mother left Kenya when N'Dare fell in love with a photojournalist named David Munroe. The two got married and moved to Harlem in New York where N'Dare became pregnant. The couple moved from Harlem and moved to Egypt where they would later leave their six year old daughter Ororo an orphan due to their death. After the death of her parents Storm became quite the thief when she was working the streets of Cairo under the name "Achmed el-Gibar". She was later picked up and recruited by Professor X and became a predominant member of the X-Men team. I love the character from Marvel Comics and if you were to ask me what comic book characters I favor more I would have to say it's a tie. Both Marvel Comics and DC Comics have awesome well designed characters and it is often difficult to choose who is better. This tutorial will show you how to draw Storm from X-Men step by step.
