In this first step you are going to draw out the guidelines and shapes to form a frame for Snoopy. Start by drawing his head in the shape of a wide shoe with facial guidelines drawn in. Next draw out the shape of his body including his left arm. This

This next step is very simple. Start at the face and draw in his eyes and eyebrows the way shown. Now draw a small nut shaped circle for his nose and a squiggly line for his mouth. Next you are going to draw out the shape of his neck and his right ar

Draw a large oblong shaped circle on his era and shade it in black. Do the same thing for his nose and collar. Finish off this step by drawing out his left leg and part of his tail. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step 1.

This is what your Snoopy should look like when you are completely finished. There is no need to color him in because he is black and white. How simple was that. That will do it for this tutorial on how to draw Snoopy from Charlie Brown.

Description: This is going to be a fun tutorial on a character that everyone knows and loves. Today you will all be learning "how to draw Snoopy" from Charlie Brown. Everyone remembers that smart black white beagle that is best known for sitting on top of his red doghouse with his bird mate Woodstock. I like to color Snoopy using fun coloring pages too because it's almost like I'm drawing him as well. Snoopy didn't always have a big part of the peanuts gang. In fact he started out as being just a regular ordinary dog owned by Charlie Brown. Eventually Snoopy became more of a "must see" character, so with time he became one of worlds most recognizable comic strip dogs ever. Snoopy made his first comic strip debut in the year of 1950. His name was at that time was not going to be Snoopy but Sniffy. This canine was a character that didn't say very much at all and it remained that way for the first 2 years. Beginning in 1952, Snoopy started sharing his thoughts with his readers with a thought balloon. Years later Snoopy went from being a beagle on all fours, to being a beagle on two paws. That is the way snoopy stayed after readers showed an expressed love for the white pooch that was kind of a drama queen. Some years later he started building a name for himself as "Joe Cool". When the Peanuts gang came to be a visual concept where folks enjoyed the gang including Snoopy on their very own televisions, it became a world wide phenomenon. That is when I got familiar with Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Pigpen, Franklin, Rerun, and Woodstock. These characters together formed what is known as the Peanuts Gang. After familiarizing myself with the crew by becoming a loyal fan of the show, I use to look forward to watching all the different specials that came out for every season and holiday like Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, and so forth. In this tutorial I will show you "how to draw Snoopy" with detailed instructions. I hope you have fun. And to finish off your new sketch, I recommend that you read some cool comics on the Peanuts Gang, it's sure to put an everlasting smile on your face. Well that does it for me, peace out and happy drawing!
