|Tags: how to draw justice league characters|
Description: I haven’t drew any comic book characters from DC Comics lately so I thought that I would do that today. When I was looking for reference pictures for Jean Grey, I came across another female character that was wicked cool. She is from DC Comics and her name is Hawkgirl. You will be getting a very cool lesson on “how to draw Hawkgirl step by step”. Hawkgirl is an interesting character form the DC world. I never really seen her in any cartoons or anything like that, I just came across her profile on accident. I did however find out that there is an animated series called “Justice League” that aired on Cartoon Network. The information that I know of is for the golden age character of Hawkgirl. Her real name is Shiera Sanders and she is a reincarnation of the Egyptian princess Chay-Ara. There is several different characters of the DC Comics’ Hawkgirl and you can even read a comic strip right on DC's website by clicking here. Unfortunately I do not know them all. Basically I just wanted to share this character with you all because I think she is insanely awesome looking. She is sort of designed like a human griffin or phoenix which is why I think she is cool. Her boots have these clawed hawk feet for detail and her head gear completely makes her look like a human hawk. Her main weapon of choice is a mace and she always carries it with her. The Hawkgirl character is one of DC Comics first female superheroes with three known various versions. There is Hawkgirl from the golden age, Hawkwoman from the Silver age, and then Hawkgirl from post-crisis. Her abilities come from a belt of Nth metal which is a substance that is found on her native planet of Thanagar. I think that this comic book hero came out looking awesome and it is now your turn to try this lesson on “how to draw Hawkgirl step by step”. I will be back later with more drawing fun so stay tuned in kiddies. Peace peeps and happy drawing!
