How to Draw Crona, Soul Eater

Step 1.


Another day, another tut so lets get started. Make a simple shape of a circle and draw a facial guide through it.

Step 2.


Sketch out the shape or structure of Crona's face like so, then begin the drawing process of getting her eyes added. She/he always has a down or depressed expression on it's face so be sure the eye lining is drawn in properly.

Step 3.


Now that the shape of Crona's face is all sketched out, you can draw the eyeballs, then the creases above each eye as well as the eyebrows. The position of the eyebrows have to match the expression of the eyes. Draw the nose and then add the mark for   

Step 4.


You will spend your time with this step by working on getting Crona's hair drawn out. As you can see the hairstyle starts out looking like a bowl but then spikes as it forms pointed bangs along with straight cuts. When the hair is finished, you can m   

Step 5.


All yo need to do now is draw in some more hair on the left side of the picture, and then draw in the lower lobes of the ears like so.

Step 6.


Lastly for this tutorial. Work on getting the neck drawn out, and then draw the shoulders as well as the design pattern of his/her shirt. Add three lace holes like so, then clean up the drawing to perfection.

Step 7.

Description: Another interesting character that I have for you today is yet again from the Soul Eater series. I decided that when I fill requests, I will find a total of three that are all from either the same movie, or series, or are related to one another in same way, shape or form. Having said all that, here is "how to draw Crona", step by step. This was a very interesting figure to read about because it is the child of Medusa. He or she is one of the handful of returning antagonist in the series, and when you saw me say he/she, it's because as of right now, there is no known gender for Crona. Even though this figure seems to wear a dress, has pink hair, and is very tall as well as slender, it is safe to say that Crona could be either a boy or girl. Like with many Soul Eater characters, Crona also has a weapon and it is the Ragnarok. The Ragnarok is a demon sword and only sword masters are able to wield these weapons. When Crona was created by his/her mother Medusa, Medusa was trying to form a Kishin. In a failed attempt to create a demon god, Crona actually worked against his/her mother and helped Shibusen win a battle between Medusa, and the Kishin. The irony of wondering what gender Crona is, makes me almost uneasy. I'm sure one of these days it will be revealed as to what sex Crona happens to be. Since I don't keep up with the show, you fans will know when Crona's gender comes to light before I do. I guess that's all I have to say about this character, I hope you all will have a blast with drawing Crona. I shall return and with my return I bring more tuts for your enjoyment and learning needs.
